Michelle Owen is one of the UK's leading sports presenters and is currently fronting Sky Sports EFL coverage. She also works with ITV on major tournament football.

She has worked her way up in the industry from hospital and student radio to roles at commercial stations including Capital FM. While presenting on the radio, Michelle started reporting on football matches for Soccer Saturday and eventually switched to sports broadcasting full-time. Her passion for football started at an early age and she went on to play in the Women’s Premier League.

Michelle enjoys hosting events and awards ceremonies, her voice can also be heard on national radio campaigns.

Michelle went to Euro 2020 with ITV, following Wales through the tournament before covering other teams and helping cover the final. She also presented Wales’ successful 2022 World Cup qualification campaign live on Sky.

 

​Michelle joined up again with ITV Football to cover the 2022 mens World Cup travelling to Qatar and presented the Women’s World Cup in 2023. 
 

Alongside her television presenting she also enjoys hosting podcasts having worked with The Athletic and other sports podcast companies.
